Hello. I just ended a war, which I won, and as soon as I did that I got a notice saying some lords might revolt...but the game isn't telling me why. The only think I could guess is because with the war ended they want their troops back or something. Game doesn't always do a great job of explaining why something is happeneing

Go to the list of your vassals. Check which ones are in negative relationship with you (red). When you go to their character page, put the cursor over that number. It will show you the modifiers that make it up.

usually i send these people a gift of 20 gold for +20 relationship. I even grant honorary titles to boost it 10 to 15 more. If it is still very low, I will use my Chancellor or Court Chaplain to improve relations.

One possibility is that you get a large relations boost when fighting heathens (+30, I think) - if you're on a Crusade, it's even bigger.

Combined with the "Vassals raised too long" penalty and the possibility of major land gains, and it's not unusual to see everyone get angry right after a big war. At least they tend to wait until after the Saracens are vanquished before raising their swords against you...

From what I can see, here are a few conclusions I think might help.

1. Maybe the vassals levies were raised to long, I know some can be insane about this. I once had one of my vassals down to a -22.
2. Demesne size, may be an issue. If you have to many "holdings" (Baronies, Houses of Worship, Towns, all count) this will make your vassals for angry.
3. This isn't really a reason, but if you want to see why a vassal isn't liking you, mouse over the little box that has the number in it. It will give you all the + and - details for your love, and hatred.

Hope this helped!

Ya, I think this is the problem. I was indeed fighting heathens. I didn't get any land gain since it was a defensive war (Or I don't know how to make demands lol), but I did raise the vassals for a decent while.
