Coming back after teh long absent I relise I forgotten ALOT of thing, and they come back one after the other as I play, so I though I ask a few of them here.

1. I know there is a button I can push to cycle though my military units, but I have no ide wich one.

2. Is there anything you can do to increase the chance of successfull, converstion, colonybuilding?

3. Also is there something you can do to decrese chance of hostile natives ereadicationg your colony?

4. Assuming you have enugh money, would it be best to put up a trading post or a colony on a new province?

5. I know colonies becomes towns when they reach 700 inhab, but I think ther was something that happend when they reach 5000 too. Am I correct or is it my memories playing jokes on me? An if I'm correct what is the difference?

Think that was all for now, maybee I found more things I wonder about as I play. Any info would be highly approciated.

Yes. And your other points should be answered there too.

1. page up/down

2. better conversion means you want a high fort level and small population in that prov.

3. put a small inf army in the colony, so even if the natives rebel, they cant destroy anything. or kill them.

4. if you trade a lot in the COT the new TP will belong to, then TP. also worth it if the goods' trade value is high. Otherwise colony. For pit stops, also colony.

5. colony becomes city at 1000 pop, in recent patches, so you need 10 colonists. at 5k you get more tax, more MP i think as well, also conversion becomes more expensive.

Thanks for the answers so far. I played a little longer and have engaged in a few wars. I noticed that my overseas colonies/citys seem to gather warexhaustion twice as fast as the once on the mainland even if they have the same religion and culture.

1.But how fast does this accumulate and decrease after you made peace?(assuming sliders in the middle).

At the moment my country is still fairly small, but I do ofcourse plan to make it alot bigger, not only by colonisation, but also by war. if I got a big country I'm bound to have a lot of provinces with a different culture/religion than me.There is only so many religions you can pacify at once, and with wars the revolt risk will be quite high if it isn't a very short one.

2. Do you spend loads of money trying to convert provinces, (seems impossible to do after a while) or do you just let them revolt and have 1(or more) army inside your border just kicking down the revolts as they are bound to happen? Also I read in the 1.07 patch notes I think, that "rebels now increase in land tech lvl at later time periods" How does this effect me fighting them? (See below)

3. Assuming both sides have the same size army and the same setup between infantery, horses and cannons, how much do land tech(and naval tech for sea battles), matter? If you are 1 or 5 or so lvl above/below the other guy how much would it increase/reduce your chance to win?(assuming same sliders settings too).

4. How do I know if I'm researching to far ahead and getting a heavy reaserch penalty? Beeing Portugal I've reseached naval tech a bit a head of the others. I got lvl 6 in 1475, and the next lvl showed over 8000d, so I switched to land thech and now it's down to around 7700d, but still rather high. How do I know when it's reached the bottom? I do have the file that shows what time you're supposed to reach a techlvl though.

I'm playing Portugal atm, hence the early colonisation, but I think I want to try another country that not focus entirely on colonisation, but still have atleat a little.I first looked at England, but then I heard you only get manpower from land based provinces adn that England doesn't count as part of europa in that sence since it's on an island.

5. Does that mean that the military side of England is very limited since they don't get manpower from their provinces in mainland Europa or did I miss something here? Also assuming you get man power form europa mainland and you have a a straigth suppline line to other continents, like Asia/Africa, do you get man power from there too or is it restricted to europa? If you can, does the straight between Spain and Fez count if you hold both provinces or is that from patch 1.08 or later?(I like the 1.07 patch).

Also been thinking of playing france maybee, Lots of fighting to get the country together and they get some explorers later on. But at what date? Is there a list of when all the countries get their exploreres/conquistadoors?

Thanks in advance

I think You'll find most of the answers to your questions are in the FAQ section or else in the wiki (http://www.paradoxian.org/eu2wiki/index.php/Main_Page). These should help you for most of those questions.

For the conquistadors/explorers all of the historical ones are listed in each country's leader file although they can be recieved through random events as well.
