In the stream the other day, it was mentioned that there are quite a few "personalized" retirement/death reasons, so I read through the files and they do not disappoint - some of them are quite funny.

A few of the more silly gems:
death_reason_ethic_materialist_2:0 "Dispersed into atoms in a scientific experiment."
death_reason_ethic_materialist_8:0 "Retired to spend time racing supersonic rocket bikes."
death_reason_ethic_pacifist_1:0 "Passed away peacefully." <- Pacifist only
death_reason_ethic_xenophile_7:0 "Killed while trying to befriend a Tiyanki."
death_reason_civic_efficient_bureaucracy_2:0 "Retired to become a professional 4D chess player."
death_reason_civic_idyllic_bloom_1:0 "Died in a bio-engineered pesticide accident."

Funfact:
death_reason_civic_crusader_spirit_2:0 "Exiled as a heretic."

The german version instead states they were burned as a heretic:
death_reason_civic_crusader_spirit_2:0 "[Root.GetHeSheCap] wurde als Ketzer verbannt."

They were retired rather than executed due to their years of service.

Hopefully they'll expand the greeting messages for basic leaders in the same way, in the future. These small bits of text add a lot of context to them.
