Why? This happenned in real history, so why to remove this possibility? Allies can be very helpful...Lachlan said:Neither can I.
I can't even stand it when my allies declare war, which is why most of my games consist of me picking an out-of-the-way country and staying neutral, or finding some isolated ally (like Sardinia) that will stay out of wars and keep other countries from inviting me to their alliances.

yourworstnightm said:Your vassals should be able to declare war on you to gain independence. Your vassals should alsobe able to go to war versus other countries, but in case you're not allied with your vassal this is really annoying. I think there should allways be an option for you to support a vassal in a war.
Seconded.Mssr Roy said:IRL a vassal was just as likely to declare war as his overlord. Removing that option makes no sense.
Not without giving the liege lord an option to intervene.Vassals should ask permission before declaring war. If the liege does not give it and they go ahead anyway relations should suffer. The liege should have the option of then mounting a punitive expedition and change the government of the vassal (put the kings younger, more cooperative, brother on the throne for example) this should end the war with a white peace.Carewolf2 said:Vassals should be allowed to do what they did IRL, that includes waging independent wars and making a mess of things.
I think any vassal, being a loose part of your realm, should be automatically allied with you. Not necessarily with the rest of the alliance(if EU2esque alliances is still in, but I think it was scrapped?), but with you, it's overlord.CatKnight said:There is. It's called "add them to my alliance."
