The mod overwrote something in the EXE if I'm not mistaken. Since there's some pretty fundamental things cahnged in 1.3 I would assume that a 1.3 EXE overwrote your patched 1.2 EXE ...

repatching shoulnd't be that hard ...

Just run the patch again. Works like a charm and takes less time than loading the game.
