Just watched the youtube video, even in terrain map mode, the game switch back to some stylistic rendering instead of terrain rendering when zoom out. Please let us have a panorama view of the terrain please.

What are you even talking about? There is a beautiful terrain mapmode, an equally beautiful political mapmode with transparency toggle-able, and a simple terrain mode. What does "panorama view" even mean?

Do you have a screen shot of terrain map mode when the map is fully zoom out?

No? I don't have the game. I'm sorry, I don't get what you're trying to say.

From what I understand there are two levels to the map, unlike previous games. If you zoom in closely you can see the individual trees and rivers, and when you zoom out the map automatically switches to what looks like a geopolitical map. It is not a "mapmode". There are literally two different maps. I think this feature was announced quite early on.

Is there a way to disable that feature?

No.

I think is to prevent the game from slowing down, when zoom out, less thing to render like trees, different terrain, the faster the game runs by the looks of it

Correct. If we were to render the entire world in 3d detail, most computes would melt, and even more people would complain about performance.

All PDX gamex so far are able to render the entire world in 3d with no problem, and it has been a staple feature of PDX game since at least CK2. Could you at least expose the zooming distant value for the switch between map mode, so people can at least mod the game to make it look the way they like?

Agreed. This is a bad feature imported from HoI4. I'd like to mod in the old style back where you could zoom out with terrain map all the way.
