No sound at all

Yesterday, when I launched the game, the audio started crackling, and eventually, it just cut off completely. Since then, I have had no sound. I have tried almost every suggestion that I could find when searching the internet, yet none of them have worked. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and found a solution.

[FIXED] I went into task manager, saw that Nahimic was running, ended all the tasks that had to do with Nahimic, disabled them on startup in the tab in task manager, started up the game and the sound was back to normal.
