No Sneak Peak as of yet?

Wiking, you said something about pre-downloading. How am I going to do that if magicka 2 sneak peek is not even added to my library?

This is what I get if I click on the gift in my inventory on steam:
"All the games in this guest pass redemption request are already owned by the user"
What this mean is that the sneak peak already exist in the "magicka 2" game in your library. (I think) But yeah I don't understand how to pre-download it either.

My guess would be that no one can, yet. I think they need to release an update that allows us to download the game or something.

Enginy, when pre-order the game you should have received the Magica 2 Sneak Peek as its own game in your game lib.
I wish I knew all the details of how steam works so I could explain better. (I work on the dev side not pusblishing side)

That would be very handy as we are completely in the dark. Especially when it comes to non steam retailers. We don't get the main game keys till release so we cant get them via steam gifts, but we apparently get a code for the sneak peek, but so far I have heard nothing

The Sneak Peek isn't live yet. Try again at 17:00 CET.

Also some, few, stores are not able to deliver the sneak peek. This should be CLEARLY stated on those stores.

Hi folks! The aforementioned producer poked me to come help out!

So, I in turn harassed our Sales team and was informed of the following:

• Purchasers on Steam/Paradox Store should have received everything immediately. Those buying games from third-party vendors advertising sneak-peek access should also receive their sneak-peek keys today. We are from our end now chasing up those partners to give them a friendly reminder.

• There is unfortunately no pre-download, perhaps some miss-communication there. Apologies!

• If you have Steam gifts in your inventory you can absolutely give them all away, you don't need to keep one for your own use, that's already baked into your original activation itself.

Sorry if you feel this could have been communicated better, we are limited by how we can "directly control" the messaging from third-party partners.

The store I am using, GreenmanGaming says "A key for the "Sneak Peak" weekend will be provided closer to the date." and also this banner "https://d1uxrvegqjaw98.cloudfront.net/medialibrary/2015/02/Magicka2_product-page-banner.jpg", yet I have heard nothing.
