Having any acknowledged/legitimized bastards or the any variant of the "known adulterer" modifier is a hard block, so if any of your court ladies fancy you, turn them down immediately.

But beyond that, you'll need to be dead first (a saint is supposed to intercede in heaven; can't do that if he's still alive and kicking).

Didn't know that - doesn't make much sense, given Saint Augustine's acknowledged bastard son.

According to the calculator, your charactor is a guaranteed saint as long as he is your first (very likely) and there are fewer than 15 saints of your religion. Just die and wait 3-6 years

My personal experience is that becoming a Catholic saint is a RNG crap shoot, and not a guaranteed thing.

I had 3 members of my dynasty Blessed, but never sainted. Finally the 4th one that was Blessed had 7000+ piety, 7000+ prestige, all 7 virtues, and won 3 crusades (1 regular, 2 northern) before she died. She got blessed immediately after death, and then sainted 4-5 years after that.
