When we talks about specs...
I found this on Panvisions homepage:

Hearts of Iron 2
Minimum spec: Pentium 3, 800 MHz, 128 mb RAM memory.

Recommended: Pentium 4, 1200 MHz, 512 mb RAM memory.

Pretty interesting... I´ve got a pretty old Celeron 1000mhz.... Maybe time to buy a new one...

hmm that must mean its pretty heavy on the animations/grafics/pictures? Dont know if thats good or bad?

I find the requirements huge... is this for sure?

well, Panvision is Paradoxs Nordic distrubator (sp?) so if someone outside Paradox should know, I suppose they would be one of them.
But on the other hand I don´t thing anything is confirmed before Johan tell us.

Why? A P3 800mhz 128 Ram is a very old/weak system when using Windows XP or even Win98 with the games and programs coming out today. A P4 2.0 gig range processor with 512 Ram is problably what min requirements should be with the next 12-18 months for alot of programs/games. Those current min. requirements would be equal to a computer system that is about 4 years old.

Alot of good posts here.

I agree with the view that Paradox should realease a game who is alot more finished than Hoi 1.00 and Victoria 1.00. For me, both those games were simply unplayable, due to CTD's and game flaws.
