No Planetary Rings? (Not Ring Worlds)

So for the longest time I’ve noticed and have been wondering why there are no Planetary Rings on Stellaris Console Edition. Now to clarify I mean actual Rings, EG: Saturn’s Rings being non existent. Or any other Rings for that matter. In fact there’s even a Modifier for a debris field around a planet, yet there’s no Ring in sight. For a while I thought it was a mod on PC. But as it turns out it isn’t…

I played the PC version unmodded and noticed that Rings spawned everywhere. So I was left thinking how hasn’t this been added to Consoles yet? I often am exited every time a big DLC or Update is released hoping they added them in but, so far no luck. It’s such a small thing but it makes the biggest difference… It seems to be a completely visual thing so I wouldn’t think it’d be because of any technical issues but who knows, maybe it is. And maybe someone has the answers I seek. Hopefully.

(Biggest hope would be that a dev happens upon my little post and makes this random dude’s dreams come true.)

Console is always a little behind in term of DLCs, and rings were added in the last expansion, which should be released soon™

I think he's talking about Saturn-like rings, not Orbital rings.

My random guess is they were removed as "unnecessary GPU load", the rings are actually separate from the planet they orbit.
