So I started playing the conclave expansion and came across something I found a bit odd. Whenever I fire a councilor through the character interaction menu there is an opinion penalty with that character for doing so as expected, but when I fire councilors through the council tab by clicking appoint and then resign there is no penalty at all and I can even put them into another council position immediately after. I tried the beta patch and it didn't fix it.
