Been playing the game for about 1.5 weeks now and I swear that MP brigades don't exist. Played 1.0 and then Rev 1 and now Rev 2, I've done almost all of the research up until Post-War. I can't seem to find MP brigades anywhere at least not in the version installed over ARMA. Read somewhere in here about they become availible after researching a certain land tech, but I know for a fact that in my games they are no where to be seen. Also read about using Mil with MP brigades attached over Gar units for partisans. Well if I have no MP brigades then the only unit with any decent level of suppression is going to be the "I won't move unless you strategically redeploy me" Garrison units :( and with providences that have revolt risk over 30% once conquered this gets bothersome really quick.

Is this WAD or is it just missing because ARMA had MP brigades (although from what I've read they were no near as strong as they've been made in IC)?

BTW, I should mention I've never played AoD so I'm not sure what the key differences , let alone the small differences are in the two games. That being said I love IC and for me it's brought a whole new life to my HOI2 games :)

Well, I currently play as Germany and am about to attack France. How will I be able to defend conquered territory against revolts? And how about my TC?

Mp's are there, using AoD and IC.

Hello;

There is no Military Police Brigades in IC+Arma, but repression of garrison units has been increased, and some events gives garrison units to german player. And you can use militia or cavalry units, like german do in real history.

Well those events are well and nice for the people playing Germany, but in my game I'm currently playing as Hungray (allied with Germany but those events don't do alot for me) and I invaded/conquered Romania and Bulgaria (So I can hold the southern line against Stalin while he gets crushed in the north, hehe)...that's alot of providences to garrison with units that can't move...(Sorry Hitler I can't help you with the invasion of France because I've got to use my army for these revolts going on in my back yard that I have to quell) 0.o

Anyhow, thanks for the answer, now at least I know that I wasn't just "missing" them and can start builing a ton of Garrison units to keep the +30% revolt risks down. Can I ask why they were removed? Also does the RR still go down over time like it used to in Arma?

It does at a massively reduced amount. 0.02 per month =/ i changed mine to 0.4 per month though.
