In my last few games I haven't seen a single slave on the slave market. The "no slave thingy" of the galactic community hasn't passed in any of these games. Not using any mods. Is this the same in your games?

The AI buys them near-instantly since 3.0.
Completely useless for players right now.
Yeah, I've even had the slave market open and staring at it with the game running on normal speed and the AI buys them so fast they blink into existence and are gone again before I can even hit the pause button that my fingers are resting on.

AI either insta-buying, or seller AI insta-cancelling the sale. Who even knows.

Slave market needs to be changed, roots-up.

My suggestion:

Make every slave that gets posted on the market be in a sort of escrow for 6 months, and let there be a bidding system. Just a simple button, 500 energy increments. The button shows the current pot, highest bidder at the end of 6 months wins.

Adjust/balance price and time interval as you like, I'm not a balance expert.
