Hi

I just started playing the game for the first time today, (no demo or beta play) and was wondering about something...

Currently playing as the Earl of the Isle of Man.

I get the correct amount of income from my City and from my Castle, but I receive nothing from my Bishopric.
His current opinion of me is +21.
He is also keeping 100% of the levies for himself at the moment.

I did change the city taxation level up one point, but I don't see why that would mean my churches provide me with nothing.

When you only have 1 province, it helps to know what's happening in your kingdom

Just wondering what I have missed really..

Cheers!

EDIT
When I look at his profile, I see his income is 9.33 from demesne (correct), with a taxation to liege of 1.63.
I am showing as his liege at the moment but receiving none of this money.

his relation with the pope only effects where the taxes go. if you're not getting levies either, check under the "laws" tab and move the "church levies" higher. its probably at 0

Go to your character

Click the vassals tab.

The opinion of your bishop towards the pope is shown in that box!

Easier still, click the cross-like button at the top of the screen. That will bring up all bishops in your real, their relationship rating with the Pope, and you. You can also select their successors from there (if your current laws permit).
