Playing Portugal I decided to "help" Nat. Spain in their fight against Rep. Spain. (They did the fighting, I just took undefended provinces). After the annexation of Rep. Spain I got all coast provinces from Barcelona to Seville and few more. There were no land connection with Portugal, through. After that I noticed 2 things:
1. All captured provinces were supplied in some miraculous way (permanently, I'm not talking about beachheads).
2. I was unable to get coal from Barcelona to my reserves no matter what I did.
But after I saved & reload all was OK.
