Is it normal not to receive ANY marriage offers from other nobles? Neither for me daughters, nor for courtiers...

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
I have received a handful of marriage proposals during 100-120 years. But only from allies.
This is one thing I think is missing. The occasional marriage offer would make sense IMO. Right now it's a bit too unilateral.
I really wonder why this hasn't been brought up yet. Also I wonder about so few answers cause as far as I recall CK1, this seems like a major backstep to me.
