No legal heir.

England 1546. The 51 year old King Thomas I of Lancaster sits on the throne, next to his 60 year old Portuguese wife, Isabel.
His son, Richard, has just died leaving no legal heir.
However, I have royal marriages with Portugal, Castille, Scotland and Austria, as well as a number of Irish Counts who have since been annexed through vassalisation.
How is this possible ? Surely there is some oik somewhere who is next in line ?
Interestingly enough, the Wars of the Roses disaster hasn't loomed at all. I avoided it so far.
I wonder, what will happen ?

if your king dies during a war, the rm partner with most development will deliver a new young king for your nation, from THEIR dynasty. it's called a dynastu spread.

if your king dies at peace, succession war or even a direct personal Union (in peace) can trigger if you get the red icon top left. you are warned then, so go to war until you get new king... or else you become a subject of your most pwerful RM partner.

RNG = random number generator. In other words, it's random. Although having lots of marriages does increase the chance.
