No launcher dlc

I updated game to latest version, i click PLAY, launcher opens but i see only QUIT/PLAY and no dlc window so i cant activate any dlc. I click PLAY, game opens and i click CONTENT, i see every dlc is inactive and i cant click browse. What to do?

Please try a full clean re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.

I did all that and i have same problem. I see launcher without dlc enable/disable option. Screenshot:

Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\DX\ and run dxsetup.exe
Please go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii\ and run vcredist.exe

If that doesn't help, please try installing ALL of these Microsoft modules:

First: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8328

Then: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

(If that doesn't do anything then http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 )

Then: visit the Windows Update site and allow it to apply all .NET updates/patches it wants to, for all .NET versions.

I installed dx again even i already had latest version, tried install vcredist.exe and i got error because i already have newer version. Game worked before, i dont know what happen, maybe your update mess it up.

What about the 4 steps I listed after that? What happened with them?

Also, going back to my first post - are you 100% sure you deleted ALL files and folders (except saved games) from under BOTH the steam/ck2 and documents/ck2 locations before reinstalling? That's very important.

Game worked before, i dont know what happen, maybe your update mess it up.

If so, it only caused this problem to you, no-one else. It's far more likely to be a local problem.

I did all steps you said, i did backup of save games and also deleted everything in steamapps/crusader kings 2 and crusader kings 2 folder in my documents, cleaned everything with ccleaner after that i i installed fresh downloaded from steam and verified fiels and all went fine, i lunch game and same problem (look screenshot above). I dont know how can it be local problem when i played game 1 week before this problem appeard, it must be some update thing.

EDIT: Checked in steam version 1.111 old launcher opens fine and i see dlc options at start, switched to 2.x not working. Do you have some FAQ for this kind of stuff?

EDIT2: I got my friend here with laptop we were transfering, installing, reinstalling things and now its working... i have no idea what was fix but now its working, i finnaly see dlc at launcher

I have the same error under Linux Mint 17.1.

Deleted the .paradoxinteractive Folder and the Crusader Kings 2 Folder under Steam. That did not help. Any ideas?

Not really, no. In Windows this is always a bad installation or missing Microsoft modules.

It looks exactly like that screenshot above? Or are there DLC and Mod tabs?

Has it always been like this for you, or only since what change or update?
