No Hungarian armour design company?

Hi all, just realised that Hungary still doesn't has a design company for armour but ship! (Ganz Danubius) Not an expert for Hungary history here but didn't Hungary research and build tank on their own during WWII? How could they not have a design company for tank but ship? Can anyone kindly explains that? Thank you!

Hungarian tanks during WW2 was licensed tanks with some modifications. Toldi was licensed Sweden tank. Turan - modified Chzeh one.
Ganz Danubius, the opposite, actually designed ships from scratch in KuK monarchy, such as Tegetthoff class battleships.

Yes, Hungary developed tanks themselves. Although Toldi was based on Swedish L-60 and Turán based on the chassis of the Czech S-II-c (T-21), the modifications they made were significant. They also developed the Zrinyi assault gun and the TAS medium/heavy tank themselves. They REALLY should have an armor design company, since historically they had multiple armor factories: Weiss Manfréd , Magyar Waggongyár , Mávag and Ganz Budapest. It should be a Mobile Tank company, since the strongest point of the Turán was its excellent offroad mobility.
