After the events in Tunons Court in Act 3, I get a quest reward of rings and some jewels and the game.... stops. I can still play or zip around but there is/are no closing vignette or cards or credits or anything. My quest log is empty and theres nothing else to do? Is this a bug or an arthouse ending?

I seem to be caught in that exact trap as well.
Had the trial, Tunon swore allegiance, gave me the rewards, my quest log has blanked and emptied... and there's nada to do and no actual end-game kicking in.
I've gone around the world map for the few locations that are open, I've visited each of my spires, talked to everyone I can, clicked on the glowing doohickey that lets you cast Edicts on your central Spire.. and there's nothing new to click on or fresh options to do anything else.

I've been told that I should be able to declare war on the north via the Edict screen from my central Spire.. but nope. Nothing that's actually available.
So I have no clue how to get the end-game to happen.

Hello @billt568 & @Raithe,

I am sorry this is happening to you, it is certainly a bug, and one that we are working to correct. This issue arises if you agree to meet Bleden Mark for a 1 on 1 dual (via missive) and then choose to instead go to Tunon's Court before meeting him in Ashweald. This results in you killing him in Tunon's court, but the bug is that this choice is not properly handled.

I believe you can work around this by either: Not reading his missive, or fighting him in Ashweald instead of Tunon's Court.

If this is not the same issue as described above, then if you could please tell me the order of events you did in Act 3, it would help me greatly in identifying the issue.

Thank you,
David

This is pretty much what happen to me only he helped, and joined me at Tunon's court instead of trying to kill me. I don't have a save far enough back to fix it.

The earliest one I have is just after the court and going off to finish the last archon Nerat.

Thanks for the response, but that's not quite that for me. I'd gone to Ashweald and Bleden Mark had pledged his allegiance to me before I went to Tunon's Court...

So order of events:
Go to Ashweald and speak to Bleden Mark, then proceed to Cacophony to kill the Archon of Secrets, then to Iron Hearth and kill the Archon of War.
Return to Ashweald, speak to Bleden Mark again, getting his pledge of allegiance and the power boost from that.
Then going to Tunon's court, having the run of dialogue. Bleden Mark appears behind you and takes part in the dialogue. Tunon declares me innocent, then invites me to talk to him.
I go up that area, you get Tunon's pledge of alliegiance. You have that scripted sequence of fatebinders, guards and such kneeling to you. Then they all go.
Left standing next to that throne with Tunon on his own and being unable to talk to him. The courtroom with the Fatebinders doing the same conversation options as before.
The world map has nearly all sights greyed out, just Tunon's Court, the various Spires, hm, and Halfgate and the Oldwall Breachs as locations I can travel to.
There are no fresh additions to the quest log - However, the Final Hunt quest still shows in the active list, even though all parts of it have been greyed out as completed.

Thank you @ProudPlatypus. We are working on a fix presently. With any luck it will also retroactively fix your broken game state :)

David, thank you for answering. I got the missive, but went to the court where both bleden and tunon swore fealty. It didn't sound wise to meet him alone
Very wise @billt568 ;) If you have a save from before answering his missive, I think you would be able to progress to the end of the game by just not replying at all. Although we are working toward a fix to this issue.

@Raithe, thank you for the details. Could I trouble you for a save or two? Ideally 1 from once you were in that stuck state, and 1 from the beginning of act 3 (or as close to the start of act 3 as you have). It's possible the fix we are working on would fix this too, I should be able to tell from the save.

Thank you all for your support and help,
David

Similar issue my order of events.

1) got missive from bleden, asked for duel and Siren swore fealty to me
2) he declined saying he couldn't wait for the adjudicators judgement so he can kill me
3) went to court threw scarlet chorus under the bus even though i teamed with them the previous act
4) kill archon of secrets
5) return to court was put on trial defended myself verbally and Turon swore allegiance
6)bleden showed up we fought and he died
7) turon finished swearing allegiance to us
8) killed ashe
9) no quests or plot moving forward

I have a similar issue. I've killed Bleden Mark at Tunon's Court despite agreeing to meet him in Ashweald, then Tunon swore fealty and i've gone to meet the rebels (before confronting Graven Ashe). I've got to cast an edict and had the end game slides that didn't mention Unfavored at all.

Then i loaded a save, gone to Graven Ashe before speaking to rebels, killed him, returned to the rebels, but they disapeared from Ascension Hall. I still have the same dialogue for casting an edict if i touch the resonator, but it doesn't let me select an area where to cast it. :(

Sorry for the lack of response there, new job has kept me hopping.
I got back to see the new patch had gone on, booted up the game and my last save and found that whatever the issue was had been fixed. Now that final quest saying to go back to the Spire shows up and I can get the end game to kick in , and run through the ending slides. So it looks like whatever it was has been resolved by what you guys have been doing. :)
