No DLCs - PC - Gamersgate (re)installation - No Program Files

My game worked perfectly, until I format my computer. I reinstalled it and, in appearance, all was good. But I looked like a fool when I tried to show the game to friends last week-end...

I don't see (and am unable to download) my DLCs on the launcher, although I'm able to see (I didn't try to load) the mods I downloaded. I tried many time to download those DLCs with the in-game tool and the dlc folder remains desesperately empty. I also made my CK2 folder, which is outside program files (x86), an exception on Avast, my main antivirus program. As far as I know, I have the right checksum without DLCs (I should check that, however). Also, each time I try to change the setting file to turn "on" the "dlc folder", as I understood here, it remains as if I didn't touch it. However, I can change the resolution and the windowed mode.

I tried everything except maybe downloading all of this as an admin or reinstalling the whole game. I wonder if one of you happens to have found a solution to this little problem.

The checksum is the same, regardless of DLCs. It should be ICBN once you have applied 1.092 - you have done that, right? GG do not auto-patch.

Sorry, what does this mean? There's nothing you have to do in settings.txt to turn on the DLC folder.

It was a trick I read about the "settings" file.

But regardless, I found the solution to my problem. In a (very poor) attempt to make my computer, which I just format, less vulnerable for viruses, I put the whole C: directory on limited use (!), so CK2 was Of Course unable to download properly the DLCs!

It's all my fault. Maybe you will be able to point this little mistake to others.

So, all works perfectly now. Thank you for hearing me so quickly, I was struggling with that until I discover the true problem.
