you should definitely try to develop a fleet command style ww2 game yourselves

I had to look, of course. And I would have read it. And I would have loved all the new content.
But all the bickering would have made me sad. And I would have ended up with more questions than answers.
Please make the whole game, test it thoroughly, send it out to beta and balance the B-jesos out of it ... then right six retrograde DDs explaining everything.

It's also compromise with all of us who want armoured trains. By simply making ships move across land, you can put warships on the frontline and they will fill that role nicely. Here we see yet another example of streamlining in practice

Few DDs means there is a TON of critical stuff for the game being decided.
Wouldn´t be surprised if earlier start date or later end game date are announced. OR more/less provinces.
AI work for the new production system will also consume a lot of time, as will invasion and air force AI. And AI doesn´t make for exciting DD unless you try it yourself.

I would be. The only "later game date" which would not surprise me is the pushing back of HoI4's release.
(I wouldn't consider that a bad thing, though.)
This sounds like good news to me! IIRC, this means we're going to certainly get a Beta up soon and then the game will be released!!

Is there an estimated date for the next dev blog? Will it be in the beginning of January or later that month?
So much for the DDs getting closer together as we approach release. On the other hand, the DD was fairly close to those CLs in the picture, so it wasn't a complete fabrication on the part of the developers.
