I was browsing the defines.lua file looking for something else, when I noticed this:
I take it this means there is no chance of stillbirth. Why? That's not very historically accurate, and while I don't think the chance needs to be on historically accurate levels, no chance at all sounds a bit too... easy?
Its not about historical accuracy, it was added because it was requested by modders but it won't be added into the vanilla game itself.
Also there are some that argue that a young child during this time period wasn't viewed as human until you were sure it was going to live and some not even naming them until year or two later, it was a quite cruel world at the time. So for our sake we view it as stillborn are simply not recorded at all.
