I'm going to try infamous 1.31.0 version of Alhambra everybody was angry about a year ago - I really wander if it will change my game that much.
My problem is I really never used edge strategy like this - so what is the best/most efficient way to do this?

0. I'm playing as land-lock Bohemia (or Poland if it fits better).
1. I understand that I need to start the war immediately in 1444 before Granada is swallowed by Spain?
2. Should I:
vassalize Granada OR
take land (but I can;t be able to core it, right?) OR
take land and release as vassal? OR
some other tricky strategy/exploit to use?

Any additional ideas/things to try/fun game-play in the process?
Thanks.

You literally won't be able to take any provinces in the war, as your colonial range is effectively 0 without a coastline. You can vassalize it however. And then you can seize a province and core it, because it's adjacent to your vassal's province on the same continent as you. However I think Alhambra is on the capital of Granada so you can't take that one. But it should leave you clear to annex it a decade later.

You can't take land because of the distance but you can vassalize Granada and then use vassal interaction to sieze one of their provinces. You can core province next to your subject

The quickest way to get Alhambra is having OPM Granada as a vassal - occupy only one province, let Castile take the rest, then vassalize Granada and use reconquest. You will be able to take provinces for yourself
