No acces to HOI3 Black ICE podcast TFH.exe

Dear HOI3 players,

Today I tried to install black ICE mod for HOI3. I read on the mod page I should also install a podcast TFH.exe. Well, when I clicked on the podcast link I was redirected to a page which contained the following: "Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator.":wacko:

I have to say I never registered my HOI3 game on paradox (I did today, a few minutes ago). I play HOI3 in Steam. Maybe these are the reasons?

By the way I was wondering is the Francesco's couters/models mod compatible with Black ICE mod? Tnx for responding!

You need to have the base HOI3 game registered. So check your confirmation email from paradox if you have done this already. You will then see the small HOI3 tank icon under your avatar.
BICE uses a variation of Franscesco's counters based on the set he made for Diday's ICE a few years ago. We have since added to and expanded this. The more recent Francesco's models are not compatible with BICE. There is a counters sub mod which you might like to check out in the BICE submod section.

try a different browser such as Chrome.

Because that link takes you to a part of the site that requires your game be registered with this site, and your game is not registered (no Hearts of Iron badge under your name). At the top of this page, click on Register A Game. First check Keys, to see if your Steam keys show up and just need to be activated. Otherwise Redeem Code should work.

Just so all you know podcats.exe is a semi-official Paradox release and is controlled by them. podcat is/was a programmer on TFH (and other things).

its nothing to do with Blackice. Its a paradox tech support product. If you can't access it try the tech support forum

I had the same problem at first.

This worked for me if your game is already registered with the forum:

1. Click on your username at the top of the forum to access the dropdown menu.
2. Click "Owned Items"
3. Click "Sync owneditems" and wait ~5 mins.

I was then able to access the support forums where the podcat tfh.exe download is.
