I've been playing the beta for 5 or 6 hours and here are my list of complaints:

none.

It's brilliant. There are some small things that are troublesome, but nothing that kept me from playing for hours. Great stuff- thanks for the effort CiM team!

Well, I'm an idiot, I guess. I just could not get that tram going, despite the "help" from the tutorial, which is lacking. I simply lost patience for it. And that's a simple tram route. It sort of reminds me of Brian Sawyer's Locomotion. Lots of depth but simply not worth the frustration figuring everything out.

What is Brian Sawyer's Locomotion is that like a sequel to Chris Sawyer's Locomtion?

That's interesting. Trams in CiM are single-ended (even if the 3d model is based on a double-ended tram!) so they only drive in one direction - did you have loops at each end of the tram line so the tram can turn around, or give it a circular route so it doesn't need to? And if it's a circular route, were all the stops on the same side of the track? And after building the track and the stops, assigning them to a Line, buying a tram - did you enable the tram line with the red/green flag button? Those are the only reasons I can think of the that your tramline couldn't work...

Thanks for the response! I will probably buy the game just based on that. When you're 54 and live in Cleveland, you get cranky and impatient. So it's probably just me. Thank you, Dozer, for the help. I may try again when I have more patience. And LOL, Hert, yes, Brian Sawyer was Chris' younger brother :}

i know Chris Sawyer's Locomotion... but Brian's? was it released as a standalone game or expansion to the first?
