Nick change

When I first joined to this forum in 2006, I was using "Novalon" as my nick everywhere. It has been over 7 years now. I have already switched my default nick everywhere and it's more unique and it is going to stay that way. I also want to change my nick on this forum but I can't find a way. So, may I ask to our admin to change my nick to "Qahlel" from "Novalon"? Pretty please? please?

I had been an admin in another vBulletin forum. It's possible.

This is not your parents vB forum, it has may customizations and runs in a custom shell, it also links databases with things like the metaservers.
We are working on phase 2 of our access shell, code name HAL, when it goes live it may be possible for me to allow name changes.

1) Thanks for the update.
2) When do you plan to release HAL? No need to be exact date. (even "end of 2014" can suffice)
3) What if I ask you to delete my current games from my current account and then I change the e-mail of this account and create a new account and add my games to that account? Would that be feasible?

Phase one of Hal was implemented a few months ago. A testament to it's planning and implementation that so few noticed it. (Major changes under the hood, but one cosmetic change was the ability to choose which medals display, and also introduced the ribbon for 50+ medals)
As for Phase 2 we have less of a tight mandate for release, it is also more ambitious than phase one, so I cannot give you even a general date.

Game registration is a one time use code, it cannot currently be transfered removed or otherwise altered, again a feature we will look at adding.

I know I'm pushing but please bare with me: what if the admin bans or deletes the account? can we then use the codes again? and/or maybe you can supply 1-time-use codes for the forum only? (I'm a good customer I had to buy EU3 2 times 1st from Gamersgate and 2nd time from Steam to multiplay with friends)

NO and No, I'm afraid. As things stand it is simply impossible. A banned user can still get support via paradox.zendesk.com .

Maybe it is possible to just keep a "true" username hidden and display a "label", if there is any? It should not require any major changes. A table column, an input on the settings page, couple changes there and there.
