I don't support this exactly as in real world Paradox has resources limited enough to focus on more important things
Like Artificial Intelligence (although I think AI in EU in okay, well when compared with all other strategy games I have ever played), Peaceful Gameplay, Balance etc.
Although I would support Cinematics in one particular instance: ENDING. Currently ending is kinda anticlimatic, day just changes to final date and boom you receive this 'go to menu' screen. Okay, this screen is quite cool and generally ending of EU doesn't feel really bad, but I think it could be more awesome.
Imagine few short - like 1-minute long - but awesome cinematics in some variables:
-
American Indigenous Nation Which Kicked Asses
-
Subsaharan Empire Which Kicked Asses
-
European
-
Horde
-
Islam
-
India
-
Orient
And few special ones:
-
World Conquest
-
Economic Superpower
-
Colonial Superpower
-
Cultural Legacy (well, first some kind of Peaceful Gameplay and Peaceful Achievements should appear

and this is arguably first priority

)
-
Holy Roman Empire United
-
China Forever
Well, at least few variables would be nice. 5 - 15 minutes of cinematics isn't incredibly much for an entire game - personally I would have nothing against them being 'climatic' slideshow, whatever, just to feel epicness and accomplishment.
This is... This is what you think is important? The game is broken, and you want...
Sometimes I am wondering if it is something wrong with me that I can enjoy many 'broken' things or if it is something wrong with
spoiled, always unsatisfied forever complaining First World people
which I, guy from poor family of post - socialist country, cannot understand.
And then I remind myself that such stuff is completely relative depeding on who speaks it.
Anyway, I don't experience any bugs nor technical difficulties + I love this game which is, coincidentally, among Steam top 25 played games, so well: either participate in appropriate discussions and help 'repair' the game or just stay quiet until some patch will satisfy you. Don't try to project your negative view on people who feel perfectly fine.
EDIT
That about First World was about the particular mentality, not about geographical locations and countries, obviously.
