Next Stellaris Stream?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
You should be a good friend then and explain to them the concept of hot code nightly build. Testing the hot code means the stream time also doubles as QA testing time for Wiz.
And forgive me for being a cynic here, but the optics looks better when bugs and glitches are encountered in a low-expectations "hot code nightly build" than in a supposedly stable build... and you know as well as I do that bugs and glitches still show up in stable builds.

The idea is to show how the game improves.
Example 1) The new Black Hole art style.
Example 2) The way Outposts and Colonies projecting borders.
Example 3) AI updates (Wiz mentioned AI actions during wars was something they weren't happy with and thus has been improved recently, although bugs remain).
I'm sure tomorrow we will see even more updates that we can compare with the previous versions. Without the 'hot code' we might not even know today that the Outpost & Colony border projection had been updated, and the AI in the war may have been even worse than it was.

As for why stream hot code... Because it's more authentic and gives a sense of honesty to the whole production. How many times have people seen 'game footage' that ends up being lies and fabrications? Which lead directly to sky high expectations that get crushed?
Just plain folks showing off a different aspects of gameplay with special highlights for things that get fixed and implementing suggestions from the community is a much more efficient form of marketing. Cheaper too.

Oh, they're cynical for exactly that reason - that it's easy to explain away the buggy state of the game by always saying it's "hot code". And I have to agree with them. The point is, we're less than two weeks away from release and we've yet to see what a "stable build" of the game truly is, if there is such a thing.
I could confidently pre-order the game because I know that even if the game is buggy on release day, Paradox will put in whatever it takes to fix it. However, people who are new to Paradox games don't have the same experience.

One of the downsides of living on the Western end of the North American continent, a reasonable time for a Livestream up in Sweden, is 6:00 AM here. Can always catch it later though.
It works perfectly for me (PDT), I get into the office around 10am (cause Tech companies are awesome and Programmers are lazy

France gave it a good go. Arguably that was a Europe thing, though.
USSR failed the military, economic, and military victories.
US has maybe won a diplomatic or cultural victory and kept playing. I mean there are countries angrily listening to their music wearing their blue jeans.
I think England gets a good amount of points for longevity of attempt, too. Think of where they'd be if they won the 100 year's war... Nobody really knows but it's fun to think about.

Somewhat true, but when you dont listen to them repeatedly saying that its a fresh unstable build then i am not sure you will be happy with the game anyway. (too short of an attention span/ability to concentrate and abstract?)

The big advantage is that you have 4000 people looking at the Q&A and giving feedback If 0.1% gives useful l feedback they get 4 ideas / bugs back per stream. That is actually pretty good.
And they do show that they do not hide anything. It is what you see is not so good as what you get . (What you get is better)

Macedonia failed to achive military victory (but only thanks to war weariness from their own soilders) but turned it into an cultural victory ages ago.
They mentioned on the HoI wednesday stream that Stellaris will steal their slot next week. But with some hint from different sides (i.e. quill18) I think it will most likley be an MP stream.
