Anyway, I'd kill for a new Hearts of Iron game. Out of the 180 or so games I have on Steam, I think HoI 3 accounts for about 50% of all my playtime across all my games... A fact I am very proud of.

ok so what game is project Armstrong and what is project Augustus? Personally I rule out Vicky 3 and EU:Rome 2. HoI4 seems highly probable to be one of them, it would be outrageous if it weren't, right? perhaps there is some evidence that could hint a space game being the other one?

Nicely done... alas, sorry that it ended up meaning nothing (a wee bit trolling on my part, but the Super Secret Project is indeed awesome).

I wish I could share with all of you but I do value my hide (and job) even though I do understand the frustration many of you feel because of the secrecy, but trust me, it's there for good reason. But then again, the wait for PDXcon isn't that long..

I think Rome2 was shot down, but vicIII remains a possiblity. It´s less likely then HoI4 (unfortunaly), but it´s still possible.

interviews and in a stream johan said specifically that they are not working on rome 2. The same goes for victoria 3, I think it was in a interview he said that victoria 3 isn't worked on either (that does not mean that another expansion for victoria 2 might come).

Well, he said that worked (or is working, he didn´t specify that) on tanks, but he also said that he worked on Bf3 and Bf4, so it could be from there. (Unless he meant that he is working on tanks now, which would lead to the conclusion HoI4 will come)

I think it was said in one interview.
But i may as well be wrong. I remember a thread some time ago, where it was collected what couldn´t be the next game. There was a link to an interview saying "no" to HoI4 and to RomeII.

There's already a dark ages game. It's called Crusader Kings. Unless you mean an earlier one based on the Migration period. That's probably a bit fun to do and we've seen elements of tribal migration in the upcoming EU IV expansion so that could be enhanced into a full game. But after a while it would stop being replayable.
Even so, a game based on the fall of the WRE and the migration period is more appropriate as an expansion of CK2 rather than a standalone game. Unless they opt for a Rome game and then you can have a DLC that takes you to the migration period since I doubt a character based game is suited for this sort of situation.
