Yeah, a bit too soon to talk about next expansion. I got intrigued by the recent expansion that brought us events mostly.
I remember 2 really long event chains from Legacy of Rome. One was about pirates and Greek Fire, and the other was about chariot races. Those two are certainly my favorite events in the whole game. They are really fun, and they are strictly for the Byzantines. They give a bit of unique flavour for the Empire.
This is what I would like to see for other parts of the map.
Several event chains that are unique for a country. Of course, it would be too much to cover the entire map at once.
Instead, focus on several countries. For example, you can have France, Iberia and Italian states filled with these events.
Or maybe Russia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Serbia and the other Orthodox realms. That one can also come with some Orthodox church overhaul. Maybe even unique shields for your coat of arms. Make unique settlements for Russia and I won't ask anything else.
If you are tired of Europe, then you can give us Cuman, Turkish and Persian unique events. Some nomad mechanics would be a bonus. Unique shields for the Zoroastrians perhaps.
I don't really mind where they focus. I will play wherever they decide to focus.
Well, some of those would require more work than the others I suppose. Still, my wish is for those unique events. I believe they would make the game more fun. Most importantly, they would make every country unique.
Also, give us the ability to change our headgear!
