Ottoman style pack wich covers Persia, Mamluks, Ottos (obv.). Would like to also see Byzantium or maybe even Romania get a mission tree in it but the first 3 need it more since I want more chaos in the most fun region in EU4, the bordering the Ottomans region.
Byz has an alright mission tree, taking you around most of the Eastern Med and into Italy. It's only anemic if you compare it to the European majors or misc. Indians.

... Or the German one.

All I want (for christmas) is a dedicated RNW expansion. Integrate the OG new world tags into the maps or create new ones with ideas that don't make the standard group look good, unique RNW religions, formables or whatever to create some immersion. AFAIK the only good maps are fan-made which by itself is really sad.

Regular RNW is really bad, I'd rather have some really good 10-20 custom made RNW templates so I can actually do a RNW with terra incognita on in the lobby and not be massively disappointed by what I discover, like, even the maps with decent landmass look depressing. Godawful trade nodes that are either colossal or tiny, literally no rivers, no estuaries, two COTs per gigacontinent, no impassable terrain or lakes or surrounding islands that make sense.

I'd gladly take one such DLC above a complete rework of say Scandinavia and the Baltics.

I know we are near the end of EUIV, so the remaining expansion(s ?) will mainly add flavor for countries. It won’t add new mechanics, but it can rework and expand some existing ones.

I would like to see a DLC focused on European countries that where not touch by Emperor DLC.
So Scandinavia + Baltic states, and Caucasus + Black sea

First, mission trees for nice runs like Karabakh into Armenia, Riga into Kurland/Prussia, Teutonic and Livonian Orders crusading Russia...
and expand the old ones : Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania …

Maybe a Quest for the Golden Fleece in Georgia?

I was looking for some formable tags, but considering there already are formable and many releasable, I don’t think there is a special need. Could be fun to have the Kingdom of Pontus for nations like Candar, Trebizond and Theodoros.

Rework some culture and religion like Estonian and Finnish in the same culture group, or some Greek/Pontic provinces in Anatolia, old Prussian culture, paganism in northern Scandinavia …

Rework Lithuanian special government (I believe it’s the weakest in the entire game)

Rework Cossacks estate which is barely useful since Emperor

Navigable Caspian Sea, plus a buildable canal to link Caspian Sea and Black Sea ?

Could be an opportunity to rethink the standard Christian monarchy government :
Many nations in Eastern Europe have government reform with special mechanics (Prussia, Ottomans, Tsardom, Hordes, Iqta), so it’s a bit weird than the most common government is so empty.

Considering they won't add any more mechanics or map changes, that narrows down the list. They might come up with one or two more Flavour packs while they are working on EUV, to get some extra final cash out of the game, but yeah.

If they were to add any more content, I'd love some back to Scandinavia, which they haven't touched in years.

This is from memory but I believe there were technical issues with making the Caspian sea navigatable. The mechanics assume all seas can be connected.

If EUV is going to be announced soon the traditional time would be PDXCon in May which doesn't leave much time for anything. Otherwise we have a year to an announcement.

I agree. But a bit more flavor is needed for Animism and Hinduism which severely lack flavor

also some mission trees for Indian Rajas (alternative for Sultanates) and a bit more missions for Sino-Tibetan region will be a no brainer

Perhaps Tinto was working on the last touches of EU4 while PDX Interactive was working on EU5? That would seem unlikely, but to split off into two projects would make it easier and quicker. It would have cut the employees in half, but would you rather want to work on 2 things at once?
