Are they red? If they're not red, they're not my stapler.
Of course they are red. Is there any other colour for staplers? And these aren't your average Periphery stapler; these are Star League staplers.

Red ones.

Sold by the ton, if anyone's interested.

That is because SLDF staplers are equipped with Double Coiled Springs for smooth, reliable stapling action. That is Lostech now a days, and as such current IS staplers only have Single Coiled Springs.

I'm going to break the flow here and just say this conversation is hilariously fun to read and reminds me I need to look in on the guy inventing the ER Stapler.

Throw in some Triple-F burgers and you have a deal.

The whiskey should help alleviate the food poisoning :)

I'd have offered the bourbon, but that's gone missing. (Aw crap, we had Garrilac over for negotiations didn't we... Sumire, I told you to keep an eye on him!)

There may also be the guy who invented pulsed ones....but I think they said it flopped because too heavy

Let's just say that the pre-existing LosTech (which was all Energy weaponry) has received a well-deserved bump up to another tier of power entirely. The Gauss Rifle even received a little love too ;)

With the 35 damage on the base ER Medium Laser, speculating on what HBS has done with the Pulse Lasers? Is it a flat damage increase like the ER Medium Laser, maybe the base Medium Pulse Laser does 40-45 damage?
Or has HBS changed Pulse Lasers to be like "MGs" making them stand out a bit more from other lasers, with a damage profile on the Medium Pulse Laser being 25x2 or 20x3 for example (I like this idea because it adds more wubs to pulse lasers).

Let me just remind you: "Hey, wanna hear the new dubstep song I wrote? Wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub. DROP! Wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub."

So no, extra wubs are definitely NOT always a good thing.

Oh how I have wished for friendly fire in that game...
