The E3 doesn't seem all that interesting now. THQ apparently not attending, Valve already said there won't be new announcements, new Pdox Dev Studio games out of the question...

Actually it was more the word 'new' that caught my attention... maybe a new title, as opposed to an expansion. Time will tell, in the meantime we'll play the guessing game. Which is better than the waiting game, but not as much fun as a deadly game of cat and mouse.

Are there any current plans for a game outside of the 1066-1950 time period? I've always wanted a good Dark Ages game or possibly a sequel to EU:Rome?

Whoops, I think my reply got lost in limbo, sorry if this is a double post.

I always considered Rome to be like CKV in the sense that it was a 'diamond in the rough' that would've greatly benefited from just one more expansion. (I did enjoy both games immensely, regardless)

It was a shame that the proposed expansion didn't win in the polls, though I suppose it's all well and good considering the fact that we got Divine Wind as a result.

Well it sounds like he acknowledged that there will be another HOI3 expansion pack and a new Rome to me. But maybe it's just me reading to much in to it.

It wasn't a hard guess, they kinda "owed" us another HoI3 expansion even before the AHD... Rome 2 on the other hand, I'm still unsure about it.

I've seen it on twitter. Johan tweeted(?) it some hours before the event.
It was also announcet here some hours before.

Maybe it was only a testrun? Also announcing it earlier would have made it hard for Johan to answer all questions before 6 AM the next day..
