Hey all I have put the new version of the mod on page 1 and page 80. It is the version without the music at around 530 megs since I used a rar program instead of 7Zip. I did not know that 7Zip would have given me a 479 meg filed instead of 530. So there is a lesson for all of us. I also put in all the fixes so no more hotfix. I even included the tested fix for the allies dowin Germany early. Feedback please.

Hey all here is a screenie of my current game as Yugoslavia. I am allied with Germany and it is January of 1944. The allies are out of Europe, Africa and Asia except for Australia. Everyone else is broken or puppeted. The Sovs are gone as is the UK which is now the German puppet of England. The US is still at war with the Japanese and the Axis is in a cold war with the US. I do not expect that to hold for long though based on past games. The AI Germans have no surface fleet so the chance of them getting to the US is not good. I do not know if Germany has nukes coming or not. The US always does. The new version of the mod is more convenient and smaller. I hope someone will give me more feedback. I will try to get a Mega link later when I get back to the States. I cannot access Mega at all and can only upload to MediaFire. So if someone could test the link for me and let me know it would help. Maybe some kind person can put up a Mega link before I get back and have to brave my crappy internet to upload the new version there.

Your mediafire link is working and I've downloaded the mod. Mega.nz is redundant but, I don't know what service is more reliable. Posting a mod directory to the forums is probably safe enough (as long as it is under 1GB).

Hey M thanks for the info. At this time I will have to wait until I get back home. The smaller size will help.

Guys, I hope someone helps me, because I'm really consufo with the Italian campaign. How do I get Duce to power? From 1920-1922 there is a series of extremely confusing facts that in the end ends with Facta in power or Mussolini, who is not really head of government (I saw this in 1935 in the war against the Ethiopians). I would like to know step by step how I put this lunatic in power. Someone help me? Sorry for my english from google translator. v

Hey C I am not sure how you do that. The AI always ends up with Musso. I think there is an event later that makes him the HOG. You just need to do the march on Rome for sure. I have played Italy many times since it is one of my favorite countries. I always end up with him. I did not even know that you could not get him. You might want to run a handsoff game as Haiti or some other small country from around 1920 and see what the Italian AI does to get him. That is the best option I can think of unless you just run Italy and try different things. I hope this helps.

In fact, it becomes "HoG" by good or evil through a civil war, but what frustrated me is that in 1935 to activate the event of the Italo-Ethiopian war needs him as "HoG" but in my if there was a bug and did not appear the Duce like head of government of Italy. My reaction was: "WTF!" And I already tested playing with Germany to see how Italy develops and until 1924 the HoG was a social democrat. Complete madness! But I will try playing with a Haitian from life to see how the theater develops in the Italian empire.

I'm really confused playing with Italy. Luigi Facta remained in the government from 1922 until 1925 when a civil war broke out against the Leninists and Mussolini assumed the HoG. I am no historian, but Mussolini assumes power after a resignation from Facta in October 1922 and in 1925 he becomes a de facto dictator, the Duce. This timeline makes no sense to me.

Hey C I am sorry but, I did not do the work on Italy. For me it is close enough. Musso comes to power and the war vs Ethiopia always fires for the AI and me when I play Italy. This mod is very big and there are a lot of minor things like this. I have nobody to code in all of these fixes. I am doing the best that I can with my poor coding skills. I used to have a team of six people. Dozens have come and gone. This has all worked to make the mod what it is today. It works pretty well, not perfect but, nothing is in programming.

I don't see the point in wanting to play a railroaded game. Just sit back and enjoy the alt-history and the unexpected.

You are completely right. In my case and did not configure Musso as HoG during the event for the Ethiopian War, this was my frustration, but no doubt and one of the most complete and fun DK mods. Congratulations.

In fact it was a bug that the AI of the game did not know to control, because in 1935 the IA does not comprise Musso like HoG even they being in the HoG. That is why the war against the Ethiopians was not possible.

Hey I am playing a game as Germany and the Ethiopian war always works fine. Are you using the latest version of the game with the new load screen and it says NUHA is the checksum in the upper right hand corner when the mod loads up? Nobody else has reported any problems with that war. Italy is sometimes slow to fight it though but, it always fires and then they always make the Italian East Africa puppet of them.

PS Is anyone else having problems with this?

Having a pretty major bug. I'm playing as the USA and the events to end army restrictions aren't working completely. Most of the unit types have reactivated, but not Light Armor or Armor. I'm thinking this is possibly due to researching Light Tank '36 significantly ahead of time, before the event happened, but I can't tell. When I look at the tech page, both division types and all of their versions aren't mentioned in the tooltips.

Dude, I think it's because of the American war doctrine that it only gives the possibility of tanks divisions in 1940, before that only as brigades of infantry, cavalry, motorized ...
