I have found an event named "The Day of Victory" in db\events\nwo\peace_in_our_time but the in-game "The day of Victory" event continue to fire after I've placed # or event deleted the lines of the event of events\nwo\peace_in_our_time ?
How is it possible ?

edit : The problem is solved. There is in fact two "The Day of Victory" events, one in nwo\peace_in_our_time and the other in nwo\der_untergang.
So I put # in front of the two of them.

Hey PB that is great. We did not make the NWO. We just melded it into our mod with the permission of Bizon. It is a great mod on it's own so also a great addition to TGC.

It is a great mod but also an historical one.
To me the meain interest of your mod is to make ahistorical game (Austria-Hungary first european power...) and this kind of histrical event can just break one of these games. So I don't think it's that great in the Great Campaign...

Hey PB the focus of our mod since 2011 has been historical outcomes. That works pretty well now. In the last year or so I have tried to include a few alt-history outcomes. They almost never happen unless the player makes them happen. For example Commie Germany in the election of 1932. There are only a few of these that are supported. It never happens unless you as the player pick the commies. So unless something very rare happens you will not see alt-history up until 1945. That is when the NWO mod kicks in and will play out depending on how WW2 went. Many people never play past 1945 but, we give you the option to do so. It is up to you. So 99 % of this mod is historical. It was designed that way.

Thanks for the support. When I feel better I am planning on a new release with all of the fixes since the last release. There is not a lot of new stuff but the mod is running better than before. Does anyone have any feedback about how Barbarossa is going AI vs AI. I nerfed the Sovs a lot since they were winning 100 per cent of the time. Now it seems they lose all of the time. So I may buff them up a bit. I want both sides to be able to win AI vs AI. Oh and how do you want the music to be? The current version without the speeches, the old version with the speeches or try to combine the versions? I am not sure about doing the last one. All feedback welcome please.

If it may be useful I have added some missing portraits of German Empire ministers.

Hey Q thanks. I can add this to the next version of the mod which will be soon if I can get some feedback about how Barbarossa goes in AI vs AI when the player is not running Germany or the Sovs. I want both sides to be able to win and can nerf or buff the Sovs very easy.

PS Feedback on anything is needed not just that or the music.

Hey all I want to post a new version soon, so please put in your two cents before or what you get is what I and Conquerer1234 add. I think I am gonna put the old music with the speeches back in. I really like those speeches. So please give me feedback on anything but, especially Barbarossa and your experience with it.

I have a question about the possible events at 1918 favoring Entente or CP. I started first game ever, just downloaded this last night, as Serbia. I became a puppet to Austria-Hungary and in 1915 Russia DoW on Austria while allied with France, Germany then DoW on France, and both Germans allied. I didn't pay much attention to the French front of the war, but I only ever say one province fall to Germany, actually it was the one closest to Luxembourg, and then they retreated several years later. There never was war with Britain or the Netherlands or Belgium. France and Germany just threw punches on that Alsace line. In 1918 Russia fell to Soviets and Austria took Moldavia and Bessarabia, Romania joined the war in 1916 on Russia's urgency, and Germany got Kiev, Ukraine and Crimea, and the Baltic. Then after that Germany signed a peace with France and gave up the Monarchy and let France take the Rhine. I don't get how they could choose such an option when the war never even made it past the Alsace line. Likewise in Austria, they only ever took one Italian province but gave up the entire empire, becoming Democratic Austrian state that still held all the lands of the Austria-Hungary empire. Why?

Surely they were totally winded in the Russian brawl, Russia took Vienna once and Budapest twice, but was ultimately repelled and Germany was 50 miles from Moscow when the Soviets ended the war. §Just want to add some details to the Russian front: it wasn't a back and forth wall like 1940's. Germany shot up through the Baltic and Pytorgrad, but retardedly wasted eight months outside an empty Moscow while the bulk of the Russian force was diving over the Carpathians and into Austria. There was even an army 25+ of Russians encircled and annihilated outside Prague!Г How could Germany cede so much to France, and release Poland. The peace between Austria-Hungary and France was called the Status Quo, but Austria lost the Monarchy still. A weird bug happened to, in that Serbia being a puppet of Austria still was in a war with France.

Well, I'll try another game as Russia and avoid going into war to see what that's like, this mod is kickbutt. Hail Monarchia!
_____
Doing that Russian game and things are super! 1916 so far and got an alliance with Germany. Hail Nikolas II! Germany has fat 30+ stacks on the French border. Things could get kinky.
_____
I am very worried about my Monarch. I don't want him and his family massacred by evil commies. In the first game as Serbia, it said he was able to flee to the UK. Is it possible to never have the Monarchy destroyed and to continue until the end of the game? I ask that for all monarchies. I read the Bourbon dynasty can be restored in France, but specifically, may they continue until end game? Hohenzollern, Habsburg, Romanov, etc.
_____
It's now October 13th 1919. No terrible wars have occured. I suppose nothing will because I turned off "countries declare war." Two hilarious things have happened. I officially declared no minimum wages payed by the government in 1916 and everyone is calling us fascists, literally. HAHAHHAHA. I never noticed when it happened, but I checked out Britain in 1919 and they have a Russian as head of gov! HAHAHAHAHAA. His name is Aleksander Konolav. I tried looking him up but he isn't popular on Google to show up.

Hey D I do not know of anyone playing Serbia. The game is set up to go historical. There is like a one per cent chance of Serbia becoming a puppet of Austria. The war then starts later and the CP then has less time to win so they usually don't. Your game sounds interesting. The only way to get an ahistoric outcome is if the player does something different like Germany killing off Hitler instead of jailing him or Germany going commie in the early 32 election. An interesting thing to try is play a handsoff game as Haiti or some other small country and just let the game run. You can learn how the game usually runs and sometimes get interesting situations to play later. You should do a manual save around January of each year so you can step into another country and start date.
