Hey I several countries end up with negative mp. It turns out there is a thing about mp retirement and at some point it can go negative. I am playing a long game as a Germany that beat France in WW1 but Aus-Hung got taken out by Russia. Now in the 30s the mp growth is negative. It is usually a small amount. I first noted it as Austria. It seems to hit small pop countries faster than big ones. It was not a big problem for me as Austria since they still had a ton of mp left over from WW1. Could you post a save game here and we can take a look at it? You just zip the two files for any date and it will fit here by adding to archive of both. At least that is how Winrar works.

It's alright, keep up the great work of this mod :)
So the event i'm talking about is the North expedition event fired in 1926 which set up the historical nationalist china, it's located in "TGC-CHI-Placeholder". Beside the map configuration and so on, it also gives 50% peace time IC nerf and 30% wartime IC nerf, along with a research nerf. Which is fine to keep CHI military strength as it is historical to the 1937, but it seems that the event effect never get canceled out, even after Japen surrenders by getting nuked, it seems that to fully cancel this effect you need CHC to take over China.
What I think should be a better way the represent chinese IC during 1926 -1937 is to given CHI a very high dissent and high consumer good demand, which you need at least 10 year of 50% your IC to reduce. This also represent the Nanking decade, which there's already an event. :)
Another thing that could be very nice is add the CHC event from 1.04 to the CHC in TGC, such as the Long March minigame, 19th route army revolution and so on :)
iirc all you have to do is include the event files in the scenario load, maybe look at some of the slept events as well in 1933 scenario. You can then remove the malus modifier on Northern Expedition. I believe Nanjing Decade event will auto-fire the way I coded it. Otherwise if it doesn't, have Northern Expedition event trigger that. Don't remember too well, I don't have DH installed anymore. Haven't played it in ages.

Hey all here are some fixes by Audessy that help WW1 turn out historically. At some point we plan on putting them into the mod but if you want to use them now like I am doing then the best thing to do is unzip it somewhere not in the mod and then paste the parts manually into the correct part of the mod and overwrite. By that I mean open up the folders and put the individual files into the folders where they go. If you have any questions or problems let me know. The two test games that I played went well. Enjoy...

Whats the latest version to DL? The one in OP?

Hey J the first post has the current version. The fixes from Audessy on this page are optional at this point. We are having discussions about how we are gonna improve the DH Map version while K works on the E3 map version.

Hey, when does the Weimar Republic become a thing? In 1920 WW1 is over and still have the Kaiser, but lost my colonies and getting Adolfs rise in the Nazi Party events.

At the start of the game, what does each event option do? Like "fall of the kaiser"? What happens when historical options aren't forced? And the war weariness thing is basically like choosing the difficulty?

that event flexibilize condition to have historical event at more historical date. If you dont have it usa my not join war and the war can goes into 20s (very very strange but i has been reported several times). No dificulty, but it get more historical dates and a little advantage if you are playing as entrente becose the war cannot go further

Hey A did Germany win or lose WW1? The Kaiser stays if you win WW1 and stays if you lose but hang on to the end. He also goes later in late 1918 or early 1919. Did you get the events for the Failure of the Summer Offensive in October 1918? It is followed by the Sailor's Revolt and Two Republics events. These get rid of the Kaiser and set up Weimar. You also may have gotten a mild Versailles peace which keeps the Kaiser but, is pretty rare. They Kaiser usually goes but not always. There is also the event for it is my fault or we were just victims. This turns on the strict Force Limits if you agree that it is your fault. Later in 1919 or so there is the Kapp Putsch which is a military coup. So you have lots of options. You can even go commie.

Hey Jeem they make those events more likely to happen so you can get a historical WW1 result. If you do not pick them crazy stuff can happen like tons of revolts against UK and France which keeps the allies at war a lot and benefits them You just have to play around with what you want or do not want. Yes the other is just difficulty level. Later in 1920 or so you get to choose when you will likely get WW2, early or late. So it is like Burger King, you can have it your way.

Is there a way to check the events I chose at the beginning of the game? I could've sworn I tried to force the fall of the kaiser and russian revolution (Because I assumed there's no ahistorical event trees for WW2 or after WW2) but they didn't happen in my game.

Hey J I do not know. Maybe K can help here since he made the event. It does not always guarantee that they will happen but they make it much more likely that they will. Again K did it so maybe he can explain.

Hey all I am having a very fun game as Germany trying something new. Right after WW1 there is an event where you accept or deny fault for the war. The AI always accepts fault and then the harsh Force Limits go into effect. Well I picked the we were a victim option. So no harsh force limits. Actually Germany was kind of a victim in that they did not start the war. The Austrians started it and Germany, unlike Italy stayed loyal to it's ally. Then when the Kapp Putsch comes up I went with it instead of it is too early.
Later I also shot all of the Nazis. So I start building up my forces and in January 1938 I invade Sweden, then Norway and then Denmark. This gives me all the steel I need and as a bonus I get Iceland and Greenland. So the next thing I do is invade Canada. The allies do nothing and I take it out easily. So yes, I attack the US after building up my forces and again the allies do nothing for a while. Then the Japanese hit Pearl Harbor and the US joins the allies. Now all of my tanks and other best units are in the States. I slowly take out the US since they only have about 20 odd divisions and cannot build new ones fast enough. In the mean time I have big problems with the allies. I finally manage to take out the French when they break into Germany by going through the Maginot Line which they empty to invade Germany. It takes me a very long time and I finally finish them off. There are no surrender events for non-nazi Germany so we are still at war. I then invade the UK and take it out. This is where I am at now. I am in North Africa working on taking out the French and UK forces there. They have about 20 divs in North Ireland so I cannot invade there. So the Sovs are still there and very strong. I have not taken out Poland keeping them as a buffer. It is a lot of fun. This is about the closest I ever get to an AAR. I hope you like it.

strange, events have more flexibile requeriment. If rusia is in war, tzar should be fold down. Something more should happends if you force and you didnt get it.
