Played HOI CORE endlessly, just getting into HOI2 CORE. Loving it, and Kudos to all who worked on it.

1. No Light Carriers?

2.Why dont some interceptors upgrade? (Bulldog)

3. Spelling errors? (Thames not Themes)

4. Why dont unit piccies match?

Hi,

1. The CVL is coming for 0.40. We've had limited availability from Matedow who does all of our Naval work. Hopefully he'll have the upgraded files ready for testing soon.

2. Need to be more specific with exactly when this is ocurring.

3. Again, more specific where you saw this.

4. Graphics was low priority initially. For 0.40 it should be properly matched and with nation specific coverage for most of the frequently played countries.

Sorry for not being specific enough!

I was playing as GB, and my Bristol Bulldog interceptors did not upgrade to Hurricane Mk1.

I have noticed a couple of errors in sp, eg Themes instead of Thames. Am i being too picky?

Maybe the Bulldog needs an upgrade to Gloster Gladiator first ?
Have you researched the proper aircraft tech, should be 1935 interceptor ?
I assume the unit in question was not bought from another nation.

Regarding the aircraft: there are minor nation's aircraft in-game. For instance after the fall of Austria Germany inherits a minor nation's air group. Those follow a different upgrade path compared to the regular air units. It's best to sell those to another nation, like Hungary or Portugal.

As to graphics: in 0.30 we have model coverage for Germany, the USSR and the USA. the upcoming release will have coverage for all majors, plus some of the major minors.

Thanks for the replies.

I think i skipped the tech between the Bulldog and Hurricane - a 1935 aircaft (gladiator i think) as it did not seem worth researching and upgrading twice.

As to the models, i look forward to the updates, it will be nice to have the Nelson class match the Nelson class piccie etc.

I am greatly enjoying CORE and as of Friday have two weeks holiday to really spend some time on it!
