Hello all. I'm really sorry I couldn't give anyone notice before Thrusday.
Wednesday night, I was "tinkering" with my computer and installed a new video card (a Radeon 9600 XT

). After installing it and setting up the drivers, my computer has constantly crashed before booting into windows. I have no idea what the problem is, and I don't have my old video card to use because it was traded in. So, my computer at home is basically out of order until I can fix the problem. I tried to find a computer on thursday to contact everyone, but the computer labs at university were closed, and my friends all had classes, so I couldn't use their computers either.
I'm on a friend's computer at the moment. When the computer shop opens on Monday, I will take my computer there so they can have a look. Hopefully the problem will be solved before next thursday.
Again, I'm sorry to everyone who showed up. It was really frustrating knowing that you would all be waiting on me, and I had no way to contact any of you.
Moral of the story: never trade in your old video card until you know your new one works.
