After decades of bad administration under the reigns of Louis XV and XVI, leading to state bankruptcy and skyrocketing bread prices, the French people rose up and deposed the centuries-old monarchical government. Louis XVI has been executed for conspiring with Austrians and Prussians, yet there are still monarchists among the Convention. These monarchists must be rooted out and executed, or all our hard work shall be undone.
It is the height of the Cold War. All corners of the earth are in play betwixt two dueling Atomic Superpowers.
Including the North Pole.
Although Santa ideologically favored the Western powers, his weakness to attack from the Soviet Union (first demonstrated during a thankfully failed invasion in 1924), led him to adopt a neutralist policy.
However, this avowed neutrality has also made him, his workshop, and his elves, vulnerable to infiltration, subversion, and sabotage.
As Christmas approaches, Santa and his elves work at a furious pace to complete the year's toys when a radio transmission from the United States Navy interrupts their splendid isolation: the USN Nautilus, the first nuclear powered submarine is going to visit the North Pole to plant the flag. The political ramifications for Santa are immense, and he retires to his gingerbread house to ponder them.
A disquieted silence falls over the North Pole... until it is interrupted by a terrible scream!! Rushing to the scene, Santa's elves discover the horribly mutilated body of Blitzen, one of Santa's favorite reindeer. The tracks leading to and from the scene are the unmistakable mark of the KGB's sometime supernatural mercenary terrors... the dreaded WEREYAK!
Further complicating matters, Santa himself is missing! Arriving at his home, a distraught Mrs. Claus informs the elves that Santa "put on his Canadiens jersey and said that he was going to get some smokes."
As the frigid Arctic night continues, Mrs. Claus, Santa's reindeer, and his still loyal elves face a terrible battle against a monstrous enemy who lives amongst them, and will stop at nothing less than the extinction of Joy and Toys! Can they last until Santa makes it back from his cigarette run? What will the US Navy's brave sailors find when they reach the North Pole?
Ahhh, Monster Island. It is a vibrant luxury resort where villains, scoundrels, blackguards and rapscallions of all stripes can relax and plot their next evil scheme.
There is a code of honor among thieves, and it is universally understood that at Monster Island, all guests are equally evil and none shall plot against their fellow resort-goers.
Until now.
It seems that a group of villains is trying to execute a dastardly evil scheme for world domination (which is what you expect from this motley crew), but they are breaking the code of dishonor by starting with Monster Island! Now you must join forces with the rest of the evil guests here to find those who would usurp the tranquility of this evil resort, and kill them until such time as they are dead.
Werewolf Lite CLVII - The village
Once upon a time there was a little village far to the west called Paraville. The inhabitants lived a peaceful live, ate bananas, and in the evenings they danced with the three-headed monkeys who were the most common animals on the island. Everything was very idyllic until one day…
