when do i need to start to fully enjoy the mod? 1933 or 1936 ?

i'm hoping to play as long as possible (64), so i guess 1936, because otherwise i would end in 1933 + 28 = 61, right?

No, the enddate of all scenarios is set to 9999. Probably best playing either 1945 or 1936 though.

Since the original idea of the USSR was a global state, with each nation having its own Soviet Socialist Republic, it would make sense for this path to be viable for the player; although when I followed this route, Bulgaria switched sides as I annexed it from the Axis and became my puppet state, and Germany later declared independence as well (I believe the OP is already addressing this).

It would be nice if there was no auto-release of puppets for the USSR, and Lenin's dream of a World Soviet Republic could be fulfilled.

It also would be greatly appreciated if instead of Kruschev, it would be possible for Molotov, Stalin's closest and most loyal ally to become leader himself, as this was the most likely scenario. There would obviously be no de-Stalinization under this new regime. Molotov should rule until the end of the game, as he died in 1986. Also, there would be no Sino-Soviet split if Molotov came to power (if the Communists won in China in the first place).

In one of the next versions I'll sure have a couple of events proposed by FCZP covered, and without any doubt alternative outcome of 1953 struggle for power as well.

I have a set of scenario files for the 1956 campaign that i changed a while ago to better represent the historic IC and military strength of various nations at the time (instead of it being the same as in 1945). Would you be interested in me sharing them, i have files for ENG, CAN, USA, FRA, HOL, AST, ARG and a few others i created them to help me test a mod of my own.

A serious bug. Playing as Germany from 33, winning the war with soviets, after the event "Revive the Romanov's Tsardom" in "Fate of USSR", I lose control over some previously occupied territories, Soviets enter the non-aggresion treaty with Gremany, and I am still in a state of war with russia, with the military acces to them. And Fascist Russia is still the leader of Comintern.

Possible successors of Stalin are 4 main groups:

-Kruschev and his anti-Stalinists: whose main goal was to increase the Soviet people's quality of life; liberalization, "thaw" of society, built apartments for the people, and much more. However, the economy stagnated and the party elites became corrupt in the absence of Stalin's harsh punishments (death or gulag) for nomenklatura incompetence, disloyalty, or corruption,

-Malenkov, Molotov, and other "Anti-Party Group" members: Stalinists who wanted to reform the system, in Malenkov's short time in office decreased Soviet party elite's salaries and increased the salary of the average worker. Their plan was a shift from heavy industry towards consumer goods, and domination by the technical intellgentsia.

-Beria, who expressed admiration for capitalism, would likely go down Chinese-style free market reforms, meanwhile maintaining an iron grip on culture and ban all dissent.

-The military, headed by Zhukov.

The next version is done! I probably could make it a few days earlier but I was really happy having a couple of relaxing free days, for a bit more taking advantage of summer weather and going back to SimCity 4 ;)

Code:
[x] USA and USSR can choose not to go into war over guaranteed countries and not to be bugged anymore over this
[+] NATO and Warsaw Pact get their own endgame graphics and proper names of alliances are loaded upon the scenario start
[x] Foundation of Warsaw Pact changes the name and graphics of a proper alliance now
[+] In 1943 the Allies and Comintern become Western Allies and Eastern Allies (Comintern was dissolved in 1943)
[+] added events for government changes of Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland
[x] corrected Zvezda Shipyard tech team name that caused error upon scenario loading (reported by Aldrich)
[x] decision picture for End of UN boycott now uses proper colordepth and should appear no longer corrupted (reported by makif130289)
[x] Russia after the Bitter Peace and breakaway countries should now be authoritarian and no longer communist
[x] made changes to Hungarian Revolution event chain that should make American intervention possible
[x] due to a mistake in an event ID Japan could not receive any gains in the Bitter Peace events, now corrected (reported by Andrey1984)
[x] Hungary will now get back its leninist government after failure of the revolution (reported by NickRooz)
[+] activated two colonial unrest events
[x] colonial powers should lose claims over their colonial lands after 1945 which should prevent newly independent countries from ceding their lands (reported by Serban)
[+] added events for annexation or new war over Dutch New Guinea in 1962/63 (suggested by NickRooz)
[x] the rest of American troops are moved from South Korea to Japan (reported by Kennelly)
[x] made all the corrections of Russian grammar in Soviet OOBs suggested by FCZP
[x] corrected military access for Cambodia and Lebanon for 1945/1950 scenarios (reported by Andropov123)
[x] Dutch East India / Dutch New Guinea is now a puppet state of the Netherlands (reported by Andropov123)
[x] Renner's Austria now gives military access to USSR immediately so no occupying forces are auto-transferred (reported by Andropov123)
[x] now Communist Greece has the correct starting cabinet for 1945 scenario

There isn't too much of genuine bug reports left to be covered, rather various suggestion tickets. So it's a good time for me to take care of 1953 and 1956 scenarios at last (probably simultaneously even if I won't necessarily release them in the same version). Let's wait for 1.9.0 then!

I'm uploading the new 1.8.8 version shortly :)

How do i apply the hotfix?

No need to worry now, see above, but you apply it the same way you install the mod (copy the contents into Mods\New World Order 2 folder).

Messed up, indeed. I surely didn't remember about clearing the Comintern alliance after the Bitter Peace. I'll have it noted down for the next version.

One question, playing with italy,i continue with the House of Savoy, have more events after this? (No minister deaths, other events.)

Currently no, and if I plan some flavor events for ITA, they'll be for Togliatti-led communist takeover. But you can propose/write some of your own?

I have a set of scenario files for the 1956 campaign that i changed a while ago to better represent the historic IC and military strength of various nations at the time (instead of it being the same as in 1945). Would you be interested in me sharing them, i have files for ENG, CAN, USA, FRA, HOL, AST, ARG and a few others i created them to help me test a mod of my own.

As for IC, they'll probably have hard time playing well with my grand scheme of things ;) I'm a lot more interested in military strength - does it mean that you edited OOBs to give them historical divisions or just adjusted the number of divisions and their model numbers (I'm doing only the latter in the mod). If you made some interesting edits in scenarios files for existence and placement of divisions, I'm very curious.

Otherwise, probably your files won't be much different that what is already in the mod but still if you have some suggestions (make that country militarily/industrially stronger/weaker), PM me or post it here. :)

I've started to add some traits to some of the "blank" ministers. Can I upload those that I had done here?

That would be mightily useful, I didn't do this myself!
