3-Ei I don't think I asked you - was it a save from carried on from earlier 1.03-based version? If yes, then it shouldn't work as there was a change in 'anti_tank' brigade which was effectively removed. If not, let me know, I'll be thnking about some fix

I edited the savegame to remove active models "anti_tank = { 3 2 1 }" line and "anti_tank = { 0 1 }" line slightly lower, in 'obsolete_models' container. Now it loads for me with one error, failing to load 'DHFBlueprints' file but I think it may be some small mod of yours because it's not a part of normal 1.04/NWO installation. The errors is ignorable in any case however.

No, it wasn't from 1.03, I installed patch 1.04, then NWO 2.2.6, as usual.

So, whenever that error occurs, I'd have to delete the corresponding lines in their respective containers?

I've got this error on a fresh install, it is refering to an anti-tank model that doesn't exist from the tech tree - they are all referred to as (null), for example - and the game tends to crash on load when such research has been completed as it cannot reconcile the problem.

If I may, theres also a few niggling issues with the Kashmir war - at one point, I was occupying everything Pakistan had sans Muzaffarabad, and a few other provinces (2/3 in Pakistan proper, and 1 in Bangladesh) - at best I was getting a Stalemate event pop up and sometimes even a minor defeat, even one time where I occupied Karachi and all of Kashmir.

It seemed a little odd to be defeated when I was basically in a position to annex Pakistan :p.

Muzaffarabad is actually the prerequisite to get something more than stalemate... :p Yeah, it's not perfect, you may surely propose some better triggers. I wanted the war to end usually historically but it doesn't have to be so rigid.

And about the problem with anti_tank brigades... here's the fix which should take care of this (it will probably not work on games in progress)

Hi, I use the cheat events mod with this mod. But I am having problems. When I used it everything was working fine but until accertain point it started dissapearing. I loaded an older save and everything was there... but.. It was like in a bunch of ID's. It was working fine before. I installed it correctly. I dont know what to do. I read the Readme as well but no dice.

This could be due to event "deathdate" are you post-1960 or even post-1963?

You can replace all occurences of "year = 1963" with "year = 3000" or something in the event text file itself and it should work, even on a game you already started.

Thoughts: Only after reading this post maybe something like the Winter War between the Finns and Soviets could be the go? Just having a stab in the dark here

It should pick the stuff when earlier scenarios are played although most of events will work only in at least semi-historical war outcome (Germany and Japan defeated).

i don't know if this has been asked before, but, are there events for Beria's USSR, Molotov's USSR, and Zhukov's USSR if you choose them as leaders?

Beria may realize the plan to unite two German states into one democratic but neutral one and there's some modifiers to de-Stalinization policies but other than this, not much.

Limited war option would be great but it wasn't ever supported by the game engine and I don't think the devs will introduce such a feature at this point. Things like Finnish War (and independence wars in India, Israel and other places which NWO introduced) are done by events so it's clearly not a universal solution

I'm going to attempt an AAR as the EU, already I've thrown together a terrible cabinet and what have you just for make do purposes, so I'd love it if you put work into that :p.
