New Unitnames don't work?

Hi folks,
playing with 1.02 german, I extracted the unitnames.csv into Vicky\db folder. I thought this way I could get new ship names etc. but I must be doing something wrong. I still get those nice ships called "1. MO. Division" or "1. Battleship Flottila" etc.

Ideas?

This happened back in the day when working on HoI unitnames.

Check to see that none of the ; are actually : (you can just do a search for : since there shouldn't be any).

Also, make sure that there are no empty spaces between the unitnames.

just so things are clear here: Are you playing 1.02 as Germany, or a German version of VIC, 1.02?

Thank you (there were two : in the belgian entries).


@ohms_law: I was playing the german version with both english and my translated german unitnames.csv. It didn't work because of the wrong entry in the file mentioned above.
