not likely....i still had an army and navy....you could have taken control of germany, but scandinavia wouldnt have been so easy. And admit it, if you were me you would be SO relieved that france had peaced me :D

And no you couldnt have "continued". You could have RE DOWed, which would have cost you quite a bit of stab and would have forced you to re siege all of my provinces, forcing you to start from scratch. :D

yes but i had a crt on you and several leaders , my siege leader took youre capitol in matter of months instead of ussually year or more

I suppose thats up to our new GM

Eh?

By the way, this game badly, badly needs a stabhit rule. Yes, I know it can be taken advantage of, but after fighting 2 wars - each lasting about five times as long as they should have - I can see why many experienced players refuse to play in games lacking such rules. Good GMing and a well written rule will do wonders.

Hmm

I spose this will do?

If a nations stab falls to -3 and they are stabhit twice by a nation they must then accept the 3rd stabhit if it is for 2 provinces or less.

Thats what I think is fair...

BTW I am still GM, but a much less stupid one :D

Well if you have a better idea pls let me know :)

Well I think the prov limit ought to be for however much you're able to stabhit the person for (of course remaining within the other limits).

Also I think there needs to be a time limit, say 3 stabhits in 9 months.

3 per 9 months would generally coincide with how many diplomats you recieve, so that would be kinda pointless :) . If it were like 2 per year then maybe. How bout this on stabhits: If you're at -3 stab, and have -99 warscore or either your capital has been captured or war exhaustion has reached it's max, then you must accept the next stabhitting peace offer.

Well some nations capitals are more vulnerable than those of others. Also better to tie it to the number of stabhits rather than the actual stability. 3 stabhits in a year's time versus 3 in 9 months would be fine though...

My son is currently in Hospital and I wouldn't feel right if he was left there alone, so unless I can arrange for someone else to sit with him I won't be able to play this session.

I will either be online at the usual or I won't. :(

i have to work until 10 so i will miss all but the last hour of the session. please sub me with someone competent:)

on the subject of stab hits, i think there should be no limit where you have to accept peace. stab hits cause revolts, and eventually the nation recieving stab hits will have to accept peace or colapse. Take for instance my war with austria, i let him take land and fell back into a defencive possition, they could stab hit me all they wanted but i was still in control of my provences and the war was going according to plan, i should not be forced to peace just because i have lost a few provs or have lost enough battles. I have been in many wars where i had lost tons of battles which drove up the war score and i was being stab hit because of it, yet i was still able to fight and was still able to defend myself and go on attacks
