i just sow documentary about monty and it gived me idea for 2 new traits
master trainer/driller - bonust to on map training and combat experiance gain for troops - this general simply know how to train soldier to better understand thier role in combat band keep up in physical condition
static minded - bonus for battle/invasion preparation, malus if combat have movement events - this general excel in creating battle plans for static battles and/or invasions, but fail to act adeqatly when combat is dynamic and need improvization

Even if you train troops... you will never make a person ready to see people die around you. The ear shattering sounds of bullets and explosives. Seeing your squad get shredded or bleeding to death. Hence training your division to "green".

As for static minded... There is already a Invader trait aswell as a Devensive trait.

agree that nothing can you prepare for actual combat, but after all it makes difference it you are in better physical shape or not, and if you learned what is expected from you and uderstanded your role or not.
and for invader..well thats just part of it and defensive dont work since his best planed operations were offensive ones.

If the wiki is still accurate, you can already appoint a 'drill expert' to your army staff. He speeds up training by 10% or something. I quite like your second idea - I suppose he could be called a tortoise. The nearest the game has is the 'old guard' trait, but his qualities and failings are slightly different from what you have in mind.

Something similar is in the game. You can appoint a leader that reduces the equipment consumption when doing on map training.
Logistics Wizzard does reduce supply consumption by 20%, not equipment attrition. Equipment and supplies are two different things in the game.

As for the topic, the second one is already in in the form of the Throrough Planer, which gives you an 50% higher maximum Planning Bonus. The planning bonus gets lower until its gone if your divisions are moving.

As for the first one, that is actually already in the game aswell, only in the form of the chief of army, which has the "Drill Expert" that speeds up army training time by 10%.

I will be more detailed then. You can hire a Drill expert at a cost of political power. The drill expert reduces the training time needed on map thus reducing attrition of equipment, Logistics wizard is another concept.

that throrough planes is well, only half way i looking for. that positive one, still better than nothing, im looking for that negative one too, old guard is realy not fitting here.
and problem with cic is that it is political section, for all, not related to individual general as montys training metods were unique for that time. and when we are at it, his creation of combined headquaters which included airforce and land army under one roof for better cordination was unique for that time too.

Well, yes it is... It reduces the time for training needed -> reduced equipment attrition due to training.
a) he propaqble meaned logistic wizard and supply and equpment consumtion are different things as above one poster explained
b) no it is not same thing. e.q. if you normaly spend 1000 usd in 6 months on training on equpment and save 20% on eqipmennt cost, it will cost you 800, but still it will take 6 months.

Slightly OT but still on commanders, in the early days of development there was talk of lieutenant or major generals, who could command up to 5 divs. My army will be corps based, and I'd prefer all of them to have a corps commander when nothing big is going on. It's beneath the dignity of a full general to be in charge of a few units of dross in some colonial outback, and having a lower tier would also enable a new bunch of traits to be invented, such as those suggested by the OP.
