The fact that the holder's opinion increases danger so much makes me think that securing the Holy Lands via Crusades will be imperative if you ever want to pilgrimage to them since Muslim rulers will naturally have a low opinion of Christian rulers. Although the Travel Options might mitigate the danger a bit.

The below picture also solves a theory I had about based off some text from DD 118:

"we’re better off routing our journey around the treacherous mountain passes of Stipon, as I hear they’ve been crawling with highwaymen since your, ahem, dalliance with Duke Andronikos’ wife during his son's wedding."

So if you manage to be hated by all of your vassals, traveling throughout your realm won't be very safe.
This is very interesting - it also encourages you to maintain good relations to your immediate neighbors to your capital, as all your journeys will start from there.

I'm really excited, the last week is pretty hard to endure now.
I know, it's making it really hard to focus on anything else.

I especially love the multiple ways in which you can generate Renown.
More ways to become renowned, gain prestige, piety (assuming from the Church building at tournaments), gold. All of the new options are great!

Some interesting things in the new video.

A new trait icon. Something to do with a pie or a cheese wheel maybe? I'm guessing its food related because of this character's gluttonous personality.

Anyone know off the top of their head how many court positions there are now? I thought there were 20 so this would mean that the Caravan Master is the new one.

There is a single frame (not sure why it was cut off) where you can see the maximum entourage size. So the choices are between 5, 10, or all of your courtiers.

Everything looks pretty good. I'm excited for how the game will play after all of the changes that they're making.
On that first map, why is “Ojske” showing as an upside-down mirror image of its name? Coding error introduced somehow?

Edit: missing adjective

The waiting is the hard part for sure, but the nice people at Paradox have given us Age of Wonders 4 yesterday and a new Stellaris DLC next Tuesday to help with the waiting!

Seriously... who's idea was it to release a wholly new game one week and then DLCs for two other games the following week only a couple of days apart? I'm thinking I'm going to have to pull a couple of my old systems out of mothballs and set them up so I play all 3 at the same time.
