Hola,

I've not played a Paradox game before and I've downloaded the demo, installed it and would like to know if anyone has written a walk through to show functionality.

Or a demo manual, I've searched and found nothing. Is this not rather important to attract new users?

Thanks in advance.

I think it's just the opposite tactic. Let the player drop into it and learn while playing. Worked for me. No manual needed imho, for some tweaks a forum might help though.

I always regretted the lack of a start-up guide, so to speak. I'm with you.

When the game starts, you'll notice it is paused. The first things you should do is a get a handle on your economy. Set up trade routes between your provinces and with any friendly nations that will accept. This will bring you money and resources. Make sure all your provinces have good governors (finesse helps with money). Give your armies leaders (high martial helps in war, but make sure they're not disloyal)...oh no, the wife's yelling!
