new to HoI2

hi!

just yesterday got HoI2!! and i must say i`ve been having so much fun!!

this far I have enjoyed only EU2 an now i`m turning to 20th century i`m still learning slowly but:

I must ask first - witch are the best mods to make this game more realistic and better??

First of all: WELCOME!


Well, I suggest you to play only the original game for 3-5 weeks, and to download the latest patch.

then: look around here, there are many mods and see what you like the most, not others.

Also:there are yet ongoing mods, like my C&C one. You can search here around again and again to find some.

(PS: there are also lot of mods for EU2)

Oh yes there are I play newest AGCEEP. still - I havent been posting around but anyway I have conquered half of world with France, created huge Livonian epmire and done stuff like that :rofl:

BUT I see a dozen of Mods here - which one to choose? (surely checking them all would take ages) what say you people? whitch is The Best HoI2 mod?

I`d suggest Stony Road or TRP.These are,afaik,the two most "ready" mods.I personally prefer SR,as it has a great community and is updated very frequently.But TRP has some interesting features (new manpower system e.g.).

You should play CORE as it adds depth to the whole game, but its still under major development..

I can only suggest to you that you, and no-one else will choose the mods.
Try them all, really all.

I know it will take time, but maybe you will more enjoy a game none here have suggested to you before.
