Looks like the AI might want to focus a bit more on absorbing OPM's, all of those independent provinces in Muscovy hurt my eyes. Also not the biggest fan of rump Portugal. Oh yeah, and Muscovy probably should have tried to eat the Baltic Coast. Unless there were some major coalitions against Muscovy they really should have been able to conquer the area if they tried.
The BBB is back baby! Paradox really should up the difficulty of doing anything in Africa. European presence in the area didn't really expand past scattered outposts and small bits of territory until well after the game ends. Make it possible to set up colonies (So you do get those occasional one or two provinces on the coast), but make them almost not worth the effort. The one exception to this would be the Cape, which is probably fine as is.
From what we can in the video see India looks pretty much untouched by Europeans. Not the best outcome (unless you're one of the Indian states).
A USA that sort of makes sense! Maybe in the future Paradox could add some dynamic colonial rebellion names (So Portuguese Brazil /=/ French Brazil /=/ English Brazil /=/ Moroccan Brazil). Miscmods did it in EU3, so I don't see why Paradox can't do it as a free content update or as some cheap DLC.
Poor, poor Italy.
The Incas are alive, which is a bit disappointing. I'd like to see the natives survive every once in a while, but I want that to wait till the natives get a comprehensive overhaul so survival is actually feasible.
Otherwise the game looks pretty good, looking forward to playing it!
